Clarke Quay introduces The CQ Edit: Cafe Edition, featuring specialty coffee, cult bakes, social mahjong sessions, and matching menus for pets

Fresh from the success of Jiak By The Quay, CQ @ Clarke Quay is expanding its daytime lifestyle offerings with the launch of The CQ Edit: Cafe Edition, across two weekends on 12 and 13 September, as well as 10 and 11 October 2026, from 9am to 6pm.

Hosted at Blk A #01-01A (beside Overscoop), the space features an indoor air-conditioned unit and brings together celebrated home-based culinary creators, viral bakers and artisanal coffee concepts. You can also unwind to chill lounge music throughout the day, headlined by an afternoon set from DJ Val, spinning live from 3pm to 5pm.

Looking to try your hand at mahjong? You are invited to join casual Social Mahjong Sessions where you can play for fun and connect with fellow enthusiasts. The sessions are designed for players with basic gameplay knowledge and participants will receive complimentary food vouchers that are redeemable across the pop-up booths. You can register here.

Each weekend will also pair artisanal food vendors with dedicated pet treat creators who have formulated pet-safe replica treats so that pawrents can enjoy matching café orders with their fur babies.

Here’s a closer look at what will be available during the two weekends.

Edition 1: 12 & 13 September 2026 | Cult Bakes, Nostalgic WSips and Viral Desserts

Edition 2: 10 & 11 October 2026 | French Viennoiserie, Playful Sips and Live Beats

Exclusively created for the event, you’ll get to try the decadent Magnum Croissant (stuffed with Magnum ice cream and pistachio kunafa), and the Berry Pistachio Danish (fresh berries, jam, pistachio crème pâtissière and pistachio crunch).

Beyond the standard menu, you will be able to find CQ Exclusives such as the Ume Cascara Spritz (cascara tea, ume syrup and tonic water), and the Kinako Matcha (iced matcha latte finished with nutty, toasty kinako milk foam). You can also snag a limited-edition sticker illustrated by @gingerbunss, which will be available while stocks last.

Lunavae Pets: Offering their signature touch to the pastry counter, Lunavae Pets has created an exclusive collection made just for the pups that replicate Pettito Bakery’s French viennoiserie.

Handcrafted with pet-friendly ingredients, gluten-free flours, and zero unnecessary fillers, the pet menu has been curated so that the furkids will be able to indulge in similar pastry treats.
