It was a year ago when Dyson first unveiled its revolutionary new professional hair dryer that was built with a new technology streamlined heater, the Dyson Hyperdymium motor, and intelligent Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) sensors, which communicates with the hair dryer to automatically adjust the motor and heater for optimal airflow and temperature.
This invention, known as the Supersonic r, is Dyson’s most powerful, most precise, and lightest hair dryer yet; delivering fast drying, while providing smoother and shiner results than the original Supersonic.
Making its debut at Fashion Week during the Autumn/Winter ’24 season, the machine was developed and tested with professionals, and had only been available for stylists to purchase so far. It has since become an essential in the kits of renowned hair stylists such as Sam McKnight, Eugene Souleiman, and Lacy Redway.
Now, the Dyson Supersonic r hair dryer is set to be made available to the public, allowing you to achieve high quality salon finishes in the comfort of your own home.
The machine will be available in Singapore in two colours — the Ceramic Pink, inspired by the orient of a pearl, and Jasper Plum, inspired by the rare purple jasper gemstone (exclusive to Dyson stores and dyson.com.sg).
