Even with a sizeable number of instax cameras under its belt, Fujifilm has added the new instax mini LiPlay+ to its instax family, alongside the instax mini Link 3 photo printer and instax mini Soft Glitter Film, to provide more options for everyone to enjoy. Here’s a closer look at the new offerings.
instax mini LiPlay+
An update to the popular instax mini LiPlay line which made its debut in 2019, the instax mini LiPlay+ is a hybrid instant camera that features a main camera and a wide-angle selfie camera alongside a variety of new features, upgrades to the camera body, and enhanced sound capabilities that allow you to integrate sound into your images.
Using the dual cameras, you will be able to tap into the camera’s new layered photo mode which combines images (created with both the front and rear cameras) into a layer with one in the foreground and one in the background. In addition to this, you’ll have the ability to choose between instax-Rich mode and instax-Natural mode to edit your images, and enhance your image quality using automatic exposure and flash control.
With the instax Sound Print feature, you will have four unique ways to record 3-second audio clips to add to your printed images. This is made possible through the printed QR code on the photo which you can scan with your smartphone. In place of an audio clip, you can also get access to the instax Sound Album and turn your memories into custom animated videos with sound, vibrant background and music.

instax mini Link 3 Nintendo Edition
Nintendo Switch users can now get their screenshot content printed with the instax mini Link 3 and the free, downloadable instax mini Link for Nintendo Switch app.
Featuring the interactive instax AiR Studio, you can now create your own prints using elements from the Mushroom Kingdom, or capture a series of six images at three second intervals using the Click to Collage feature for a Photo Booth experience featuring characters, items and more from the world of Super Mario.
To celebrate the launch of the updated app, Fujifilm has introduced a special product bundle that consists of the instax mini Link 3 Smartphone printer and an exclusive Super Mario Question Block silicone case — an absolute must-have for any Nintendo fan.
The instax mini Link 3 Nintendo Edition is priced at $229.
instax mini Soft Glitter Film
As a great pairing to the new instax mini LiPlay+, Fujifilm has also launched the instax mini Soft Glitter Film which features gold accents paired with soothing hues to give your printed photos a calming shimmer frame.
