The signature casual grandeur at the heart of Gucci’s DNA once again takes the narrative thread of the House’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection that not only explores the essence of the 1970s but also captures a sense of boundless freedom while weaving in a contemporary vision of Gucci’s heritage.
For women, the use of tailoring strikes a balance between structural precision and fluidity with each look embodying a confident femininity where historical roots and an avant-garde vision merge to redefine modern luxury.
For men, you’ll find relaxed and understated tailoring with clean lines and generous proportions resulting in pieces that combines refinement with practicality while maintaining a relaxed and authentic take on modernity.
Gucci Softbit
One of the key highlights from the collection is the new Gucci Softbit handbag that is crafted in smooth leather with a relaxed silhouette in two sizes, and features a half Horsebit on the exterior of the bag.

The half Horsebit was first introduced by Gucci in the ‘70s as a decorative detail on bags and was routinely used as both an aesthetic and functional element until the early 2000s. Now, the half Horsebit is reimagined on the Gucci Softbit as a way of merging heritage inspirations from decades past with a contemporary-facing attitude.
Gucci 73
Another item to take note of is the Gucci 73, which was introduced on the Spring Summer 2025 women’s runway in Milan by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno.
Inspired by an archival bucket bag from its eponymous year, the Gucci 73 reflects the House’s equestrian-inspired narrative and features the emblematic Horsebit hardware; displaying only one ring and bar instead of the usual two ring and bar silhouette.
