Meet the MacBook Neo, Apple’s all-new affordable 13-inch laptop

In an effort to make the power of Mac more accessible to the masses, Apple has launched the all-new MacBook Neo, powered by A18 Pro, with a beautifully crafted aluminium design in a variety of gorgeous colours, that is built to last.

The 13-inch Liquid Retina display features a 2408 x 1506 resolution, 500 nits of brightness, and supports 1 billion colours; bringing to life sharp, crystal clear text and vibrant images with a display that is both brighter and higher in resolution than most PC laptops in this price range.

Together with an anti-reflective coating, you’ll be able to enjoy a comfortable viewing experience in a variety of lighting conditions to watch your movies, edit your photos, or take video calls from anywhere.

To give you an all-rounded experience, the MacBook Neo also comes with Apple’s much-loved Magic Keyboard, which provides a comfortable, precise typing experience, while the large Multi-Touch trackpad lets you click, scroll, swipe and pinch anywhere on its surface.

Engineered with the A18 Pro, you have the power to do all your daily tasks from browsing the web to creating documents and streaming content, while working seamlessly between your favourite apps like WhatsApp, Canva, Excel and Safari.

Built with the integrated 5-core GPU, you can bring graphics to life while playing action-packed games or exploring creative hobbies, while the 16-core Neural Engine helps to support fast on-device Apple Intelligence features and everyday AI tasks like summarising notes in Bear, or using the Clean Up tool in the Photos app.

Meetings and video calls are about to get more vibrant, thanks to the 1080p FaceTime HD camera. Dual mics with directional beamforming also help to reduce background noise and isolate a user’s voice, so that you can hear the other party loud and clear.

The viewer experience also gets a boost with the dual side-firing speakers and its support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos; producing immersive sound for watching a movie, listening to music, or using apps like GarageBand.

Other key features you can expect include up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge, two USB-C ports, a headphone jack for wired audio, and fast wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E.

The MacBook Neo is priced from $849 and is now available at Apple Stores in Singapore, Apple Authorised Resellers, and online at apple.com
