In its latest Holiday Campaign for 2025, Miu Miu is celebrating the holiday season with a cast of characters gathered at an Elizabethan manor house in the British countryside, where they encounter a place that feels new in their eyes, but is layered with centuries of history and remembrance.
Shot by fashion photographer Angela Hill, the campaign features Gigi Hadid, Dede Mansro, Viola Sharp, and Ju Xiaowen, and is captured on a Super 8 camera as well as photographed on film.
The campaign itself showcases an authentic and tactile aesthetic with the ancient brick work and scarred stones of a family mansion, that evoke a marked and emotionally resonant contrast between the antique in places that have been ruined, alongside the splendour of the surroundings and the youth and pristine beauty of those who inhabit it.
Set against the stately grandeur of a monolithic stone fireplace, the young women are photographed with attitude that is strikingly at odds with the backdrop which is natural and spontaneous. Accompanying them are looks created for the festive season such as crumpled and embroidered duchesse satin in soft shades, patchworked shearling, glitter and sequin embellished knits, liquid bias-cut satins, lingerie-inspired stretch georgette, and ultra feminine prints.
Also seen in the campaign are signature moccasins, loafers, slippers and ballerinas which are contrasted with knee-high stretch leather designs that were first seen on the Fall-Winter runway, ultra-flat sneakers and pointed-toe, grosgrain trimmed pumps with a high or kitten heel, as well as bags like the iconic Wander, Arcadie, Pocket, Beau, Solitaire, and the backpack in a holiday seasonal red.
