Ever wondered if it is possible to create a mystery involving some of the most prolific actors and a renowned coffee brand?

At the heart of the campaign is a light-hearted yet suspenseful film that takes you aboard a fictive luxurious train where a mystery has taken place.
A glamorous heiress, portrayed by French actress and comedian Camille Cottin, reports a puzzling theft of her precious Nespresso coffee capsules and Detective George, portrayed by Nespresso’s global ambassador George Clooney, is on the case. His investigation ultimately leads him to the train’s kitchen where he meets the Chef, played by Eva Longoria, and the Sous-Chef, played by Korean actress Kim Go Eun.
Aimed at captivating and engaging Nespresso fans in a unique and entertaining way, this new campaign represents Nespresso’s commitment to delivering exceptional coffee moments while reinforcing the excitement that surrounds its collaborations with Hollywood actor George Clooney.

To lend authenticity, the ad was filmed in the iconic studios of Cinecittà in Rome. Known for its rich history and contribution to the world of cinema, Cinecittà has been the backdrop for numerous legendary films, with its grandeur and cinematic atmosphere, that made it the perfect location to bring this captivating Nespresso campaign to life.
Sharing his thoughts about working on the film, George Clooney said: “Shooting with Nespresso is always a great time, and this particular campaign was unbelievably fun because of the script and cast.”
“This was my first time working with my long-time friend Eva, and both her and Go Eun brought such a vibrant energy to set; which worked so seamlessly together. It was also wonderful to be reunited with Camille who always brings a touch of sophistication, which was perfect for the role.”
For Eva, who was not only working with George on a project for the first time but is also making her debut as Nespresso’s ambassador, being a part of the team that shares the same values and passion for exceptional coffee is both fulfilling and exciting.
“First, Nespresso campaigns are always so iconic and part of that is due to the stellar casting,” said Eva. “This was my first time working with George, Camille, and Kim, yet we all had such an organic rapport on set and had a lot of fun together.”
Even for Kim Go Eun, who is not just a familiar face in Nespresso ads, but also someone who has worked with George Clooney before, she shared that collaborating with Nespresso has always been a “truly special” experience for her.
She added: “I loved sharing laughs with everyone on set. Since it was my second time working with George, I felt much more comfortable and had a stronger dynamic this time around. Eva and Camille were so cheerful and full of energy, so we also laughed a lot together. We all had so much fun on set that the language barrier didn’t really matter.”
Making her return to Nespresso was a no-brainer for Camille Cottin who finds Nespresso campaigns a pleasure to shoot and different from types of ad campaigns.
“The scripts are light-hearted and fun, and the team is also very meticulous, ensuring that we get the best results which makes me feel proud to be a part of it for a second time.”
