If you want flagship smartphone specs on a budget, the new POCO F7 Ultra and F7 Pro could be perfect. Starting at just S$669 and going up to S$929, these two phones look set to offer incredible performance at a reasonable price point.
The POCO F7 Ultra comes equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the latest LPDDR5X RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage. The large 6.67-inch AMOLED display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and can get up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness.
The triple camera array on the rear consists of a 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP floating telephoto camera with OIS and an f/2.0 aperture, as well as a 32MP ultrawide camera that has an f/2.2 aperture. The 5,300mAh battery inside should provide considerable battery life, and charging is quick with 120W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge.
The more affordable POCO F7 Pro is just as impressive, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and the same specs as the Ultra variant. The phone also uses LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
There’s the same 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.6 aperture, but there’s no telephoto camera here and the ultrawide camera is just 8MP with an f/2.2 aperture. The large 6,000mAh battery inside only supports 90W wired HyperCharge and no wireless charging.
Both phones have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating for added durability. The POCO F7 Ultra gets POCO Shield Glass, which is said to be the strongest glass on a POCO device yet. The POCO F7 Pro will get Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i instead.
Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 will be the operating system in play on both phones, with AI features like Google Gemini, Circle to Search with Google, AI Interpreter, and more available out of the box.
