Pokémon celebrates 30 years in Singapore with immersive experiences at Changi Airport, Jewel Changi and The Kallang

As Pokémon celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, fans in Singapore will be happy to note that The Pokémon Company has prepared an exciting lineup of activities that will feature a series of immersive experiences, entertainment and special programmes to commemorate three awesome decades of Pokémon.

Here’s a closer look at what you can expect.

Pokémon RUN 30

First held as the Pokémon RUN Carnival 2015 in Taiwan, the run is now returning to more Asian countries, including Singapore, as part of the Pokémon 30th anniversary celebration. 

The interactive Fun Run experience, Pokémon RUN 30: Singapore Edition will be held on 7 and 8 November at The Kallang, and promises an immersive journey through the world of Pokémon, celebrating its past, present and future.

Participants will begin their adventure by choosing their very first partner Pokémon and as they continue along the immersive run course, they will encounter themed challenges inspired by the world of Pokémon, which include Gym Battles, encounters with wild Pokémon, opportunities to complete their Pokédex Search Sheet, and chances to evolve their partner Pokémon.

The course is designed to create a dynamic storytelling experience that brings the Pokémon journey to life with themed checkpoints and interactive elements.

In addition to the run, there will also be a dedicated Festival Zone which will be open to both participants and non-participants with free admission.

This is where you can journey through Pokémon’s 30-year history at the Time Tunnel, explore immersive experience zones which will showcase the latest Pokémon content, catch Pikachu at a Meet & Greet, and shop at the Pokémon pop-up store, which will feature special merchandise!

PokéXciting! at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi

What better way to celebrate 30 years of Pokémon than with a large-scale party-style celebration at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi? 

The celebration, which will take place across five Asian cities including Singapore, is set to bring together entertainment, nostalgia, and interactive experiences across generations, making it one of the most ambitious Pokémon celebrations to date.

PokéXciting! in Singapore will happen on 7 and 8 November at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi with a wide range of exciting fan experiences such as a Pokémon Parade at Jewel Forest Valley featuring 27 First Partner Pokémon from 9 generations of the original video game series taking the stage together.

Over at Changi Airport Terminal 3, you can look forward to Pokémon stage shows as well as special appearances by PokéXciting! Pikachu, who will be making its special debut appearance in Singapore.

During this weekend celebration, you can also meet your favourite Pokémon during special Meet and Greet sessions, and bring home special PokéXciting! Merchandise, which will only be available at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi.

Pokémon Experience at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi

From 3 November 2026, Pokémon fans can enjoy a special Pokémon 30th anniversary celebration campaign at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi where you can redeem or purchase original Pokémon merchandise featuring unique designs, with a qualifying receipt from participating outlets.

The celebrations at Changi Airport will also continue into Christmas and Lunar New Year, alongside the Pokémon Experience Zone at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Departure Hall, where you can try out various Pokémon video game titles on the Nintendo Switch 2, and enjoy complimentary Pokémon Trading Card Game trial-play sessions.

Fans of Pokémon TCG can take part in a Game Quiz Rally at Jewel Changi too, where you will need to complete a quiz based on the enlarged displays of the individual TCG cards, each featuring one of the 27 First Partner Pokémon (from all 9 generations) to collect a prize.

Pokémon GO regional in-game experience

Trainers of the popular Pokémon GO app will be able to enjoy an in-game event from 7 to 8 November in Singapore, with a chance to catch the Singapore exclusive PokéXciting! Pikachu while enjoying other special content such as Timed Research and the GO Stamp Rally.

Starting 12 September 2026, the first cross-region GO Stamp Rally invites you to join the fun at the official PokéXciting! Event venues across five iconic destinations, namely Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Singapore, Manila, and Bangkok, in the Asia-Pacific region. All you’ll need to do is explore each city and find the PokéXciting! PokéStop to receive a unique, region-exclusive PokéXciting! Pikachu stamp.

Aside from the stamp, you’ll also get to encounter a PokéXciting! Pikachu featuring a local Location Background and a unique costume colour inspired by the city.
