Taking design reference from the German Maison’s archive hand-carry cases developed in 1969, the Grid collection reinterprets RIMOWA’s iconic grooves using a structured, geometric language.
A defining feature of the collection is its embossed Grid design that is pressed into RIMOWA’s Silver aluminium, which introduces a striking visual effect while maintaining the strength and durability synonymous with the brand’s engineering.
Inside, the case features refined leather details and a soft quilt lining that echoes the Grid pattern, extending the design throughout the case.
Another key feature of the collection are the leather touchpoint reimagined in an elegant Blue hue, paying homage to a historic RIMOWA shade while adding a distinctive touch that reinforces the collection’s archival roots.
Crafted in RIMOWA’s historic Cologne factory, each piece is built with signature Classic components that include leather handles, shiny palladium locks, airplane-debossed rivets, smooth-rolling Multiwheel system, stage-free telescopic handles, and backed by the German Maison’s lifetime guarantee.
Custom components, such as a complimentary leather luggage tag with an archival logo and a numbered limited-edition badge, are also included to make your piece unique.
The RIMOWA Aluminium Grid collection launches across various sizes such as the Hand-Carry and Cabin Case, as well as a Trunk size — the first for an archival special edition launch.
