Bringing exceptional performance and expanded AI capabilities to the world’s most popular laptop, the MacBook Air gets a hardware upgrade with an all new M5, which features a faster CPU and next-generation GPU with a Neural Accelerator in each core to power through a variety of workflows, from creative projects to complex AI tasks.

This essentially means faster AI video enhancement performance, faster 3D rendering with ray-tracing performance, faster image processing, and faster web browsing.
Built with a 13.6-inch or 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness, the new MacBook Air is able to deliver up to 18 hours of battery life with fast-charge capability in a thin, light, and completely silent fanless design.

In addition to the power of the M5 chip, you’ll also be getting a computer with a 12MP Center Stage camera with support for Desk View, a three-mic array for enhanced voice clarity, and an immersive sound system with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos to create an enjoyable three-dimensional soundstage for music and movies.
The 13-inch MacBook Air with M5 starts from $1,599 while the 15-inch MacBook Air with M5 starts from $1,899. All models are now available at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorised Resellers, as well as online at apple.com.
MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max

Joining the release of the MacBook Air M5 is the latest 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro featuring the all-new M5 Pro and M5 Max. Engineered from the ground up for AI, the M5 Pro and M5 Max are combined individually into a single system on a chip, delivering up to 30% faster performance to run complex workflows as well as rigorous simulations.
On the AI front, the new MacBook Pro is able to help AI researchers and developers train custom models locally, while also offering creative professionals the ability to leverage AI-powered tools for video editing, music production, and design work.

Both chips offer a 50% increase in graphics performance too, as compared to the M4 Pro and M4 Max, allowing for motion designers to work with complex 3D scenes in real time and VFX artists to preview effects instantly.
Built with an exceptional battery life of up to 24 hours on a single charge, the new MacBook Pro comes with a Liquid Retina XDR display with 1,600 nits peak HDR brightness and up to 1,000 nits for SDR content, alongside a wide array of connectivity options that include three Thunderbolt 5 ports and an SDXC card slot.
It also features a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View support and an immersive six-speaker sound system with support for Spatial Audio.
