Music Matters Live celebrates its 21st anniversary across four nights at Clarke Quay

Celebrating its 21st year, Music Matters Live returns to Singapore with 40 emerging artist from 15 countries, who will be performing live and free across four big nights from 2 to 4 October and 7 October at CQ @ Clarke Quay.

These artists include BORDERLINE (NZ), Lola Amour (PH), St. Human (SG), Bratty (MX), Pierce Brothers (AU), Flynn Gurry (AU), KID PHENOMENON from EXILE TRIBE (JP), and Runyu (CH), who will be performing across venues like the Mainstage at CQ @ Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square and Swee Lee.

Alongside the performances, you’ll also be able to enjoy specific music showcases such as:

Music Is Universal — presented by Universal Music

Happening on 4 October, this is a powerhouse showcase of Universal Music’s Southeast Asian roster that brings together some of the region’s most exciting pop idols from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia. 

The night will also spotlights a new generation of talent through performances from DOLLA (MY), LYHAN (VN), MARBLES (ID), VVV (TH), and XONARA (PH).

Presented by NCCA in partnership with BSE and Music Matters, the debut of this showcase celebrates music as a bridge for cultural exchange, bringing Filipino and regional artists and industry communities together, with special performances by P-Pop sensations KAIA, PIX!E, and Lola Amour.

With two showcases this year at Swee Lee and at CQ @ Clarke Quay, you’re in for a treat with first-time performances from Alice George, FVNERAL, Flynn Gurry, Holly Hebe, Lucy Sugerman, Mariae Cassandra, Peach Fuzz, Pierce Brothers, Reuben Del Melo, SAHXL, Squid The Kid, and TOWNS.

Closing out the All That Matters conference and Music Matters Live is Girls’ Night Out, a vibrant closing party that celebrates some of the most exciting female artists from across Asia Pacific and around the world.

You can look forward to a night of live performances spanning genres and borders, featuring Bratty (MX), Maisha Kanna (ID), Lucy Sugerman (AU), SARINA (JP), and Singapore’s very own Haneri.
