CASIO’s latest addition to the EDIFICE line of timepieces brings the new EFK-100 series mechanical watches that incorporates forged carbon for the first time.

Forged carbon is a lightweight and high-strength material that is commonly used in high-end sports cars and custom automotive parts. Created by blending carbon fibre with resin, it is a distinctive marbled texture with unique, random patterns that make each watch a one of a kind.
The new EFK-100CD is built using forged carbon on both its case and dial, while the EFK-100CD incorporates the high-performance material on its dial. This minimalist design features only three hands and a date display, drawing attention to the depth and pattern of the forged carbon dial.

Another first for CASIO in the EFK-100 series is the introduction of a mechanical movement with a see-through case back that reveals the movement in motion, which delivers a power reserve of approximately 40 hours when fully wound.
Joining these two models, are three other new designs under the EFK-100D series that replicate the look of forged carbon through an electroforming process to deliver the same visual impact with a different material approach.
