Coach launches capsule collection with LA-based creative collective and cultural lifestyle brand, Brain Dead

Drawing inspiration from Tokyo’s street style, collectible souvenir culture and the imagined merchandise from a fictional amusement park, comes the capsule collection borne of a special collaboration between Coach and Brain Dead.

Having made its debut in a surprise flash runway show in New York’s Meatpacking District on 14 May, the collection spans ready-to-wear, leathergoods, footwear and accessories through a lens of ‘90s interpretations of ‘70s silhouettes that blends nostalgia, playfulness and individuality with Coach’s heritage of craft and self-expression.

In ready-to-wear, you’ll find a layered and instinctive approach to dressing with pieces designed to feel collected, customised and lived-in over time.

Crocheted charms, patches, pins and layered styling run throughout the collection, alongside embroidered bias-cut gingham dresses and skirts, cotton baby doll tops and dresses, and pleated plaid skirts styled with charms and chains.

Empire bags and additional silhouettes feature oversized mascot graphics that are inspired by the collection’s mascot characters Kachi, Xerx and Zilly, together with special accessories such as soft vinyl charms, button pack, sticker packs, and a collectible lunchbox.
