Following his awe-inspiring show at the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris that was seen by 1 billion television viewers worldwide, French DJ and producer Michael Canitrot is officially taking his Monumental Tour to the iconic Château de Chambord.
Set to happen on 19 September, this will mark the next chapter in his ambitious journey to unite electronic music and cultural heritage through the transformation of UNESCO World Heritage Sites into highly-immersive audiovisual experiences.
Featuring the majestic backdrop of the castle’s soaring turrets and Renaissance grandeur, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s oeuvre, this open-air performance will see Michael take the stage beneath Chambord’s sprawling 150-meter-wide façade to deliver his signature Monumental experience that fuses electronic music, architectural projection mapping, and immersive lighting design, live in real time.
With 22 editions already completed, this performance is set to be a part concert, part conservation initiative, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the restoration of the Château’s François I wing.
