With the idea to turn the resort into a place where you can spend the day to night, Resorts World Sentosa is set to launch a lineup of resort-wide programme running from 29 May to 30 August complete with surprise character encounters from POP MART’s CRYBABY, Sanrio, and Illumination’s Minions. Here’s a closer look at these experiences.
Minions & Monsters Summer at Universal Studios Singapore (29 May to 11 August)

Gear up for chaos at Universal Studios Singapore with an exclusive park event inspired by the upcoming Minions & Monsters film, the latest instalment in Illumination’s Despicable Me and Minions franchises, which takes place in 1920s Hollywood where an entirely new tribe of Minions have unleashed monsters onto the world.
Illumination’s Minions & Monsters Summer invites you to step into the park where you will be greeted by new characters and scenes inspired by the film, like monsters Howard and Irene, who will take over Hollywood Street alongside you favourite Minions characters.
You will also get to meet James and Henry, the newest Minions from the franchise, who will be making their park debut in a brand new live show, Conjuring Chaos.
In addition to the character experiences, you can expect to enjoy delicious, limited-time creations such as Irene’s Chicken Cutlet Sandwich, James’ Banana & Hazelnut Bombolone, and Minions Spellbinding Tea, at select restaurants and food carts throughout the park, as well as get your hands on exclusive Minions & Monsters merchandise at the Silver Screen store.
Universal Studios Singapore tickets are priced from $83 (adult) and $69 (child). You can book your tickets at rwsentosa.com.

Jointly organised by POP MART, RWS and the Singapore Tourism Board, CRYBABY takes you on a journey through the Singapore Oceanarium where you can get up close with giant versions of the Cry Me an Ocean series as well as the marine life it celebrates.

Specially designed CRYBABY installations within Singapore Oceanarium are set next to marine habitats, inviting you to connect with the wonders of the ocean in a fun and accessible way, offering a fresh lens on marine life, blending discovery and creative story telling.
You are also invited to make waves with seven newly created marine-themed CRYBABY characters through larger-than-life inflatables, sculptures and photo zones across Singapore Oceanarium, WEAVE and an ocean-themed pop-up store by POP MART.
