Since making its debut in the Valentino Fall/Winter 2010-11 runway, the Rockstud Pumps have become a familiar icon of the Maison. Now, for the Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 collection by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, the shoes’ design has been thoughtfully reimagined for the new age.

The reimagined design highlights a new contemporary appeal of the Rockstud, which has been a motif that preserves its iconic geometry, and stands as a structural code of the Maison.
Introducing a fashion-forward look to the Rockstud family, the Valentino Garavani Rockstud pumps’ new silhouette features a timeless cage design that has been reinterpreted through chiseled pointy toes with a sleek platinum finish and signature red insoles.

It is also available in two versions, one with straight heels in 100mm and 40mm heel heights, alongside a wide palette of hues ranging from elegant neutrals to more vibrant colours that include bright green and light blue.
To celebrate Alessandro’s vision for one of the Maison’s most recognisable icons, a dedicated campaign has been created to honour its enduring legacy while revealing a new chapter in its evolution.

Shot by British photographer Johnny Dufort and directed by Shayne Laverdiere, the campaign unfolds in Rome, a city deeply woven into Valentino’s identity, against a monumental landscape shaped by the subtle interplay of marble and water.
With a balance of strength and lightness, structure and fluidity, the campaign presents the Rockstud as a living expression of the Maison’s identity that is an icon which continues to evolve and reinvent its unmistakable codes, while remaining deeply rooted in its origins.
