The new year brings a new collection of men’s shoes for Spring/Summer 2025 from Christian Louboutin that builds on existing models with innovative artisanal techniques while introducing all-new styles along with an exciting range of accessories.
Inspired by the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, the footwear collection exudes designs with a wild attitude and an exploration of edgy beauty through metamorphosis.
This can be seen with the Eliviriss loafers and Mr Clawniss ankle boots that feature animalistic claw-like metal spikes for a sharp and fierce aesthetic, as well as the Dandelion Fellina, that uses a complex embroidery process and hand-finished rhinestone spikes to replicate claws.
The exquisite craftsmanship is applied to the Esquisse Florale too, which takes 30 hours to embroider an intricate gold floral patten onto a natural cotton canvas base.
Having established itself as a classic option for men, the Chamberliss has offered a modern sartorial twist on classic black styles with its distinctive metal pin across the front of the shoe. This time, the signature pin takes centrestage as Chambelink Strass — a standalone accessory that is interchangeable between Chambeliss shoes, and Made of sturdy brass with 200 studded hand-set rhinestones.
Other designs to look out for include the Granariso lace-ups and Trailrun sneakers in updated colourways, the College line of loafers and brogues with a new chunky double-layer lug sole, and the brand new Aeroli with a crepe-like platform sole.
