This fall, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, Peter Philips, has taken inspiration from the Dior archives to design the Miss Dior makeup collection as a celebration of contemporary women who are passionate, independent and liberated.
At the heart of the Miss Dior wardrobe, three mini-collections are revealed in Shocking Pink, Bold Black, and Wild Beige. Each of them helps to enhance the face, from eyes to lips, via the complexion, while reinterpreting the iconic House products, dressed in Miss Dior.
For the eyes
Celebrating the Miss Dior spirit are three limited editions of the Diorshow 5 Couleurs ($143 each) that transform makeup into playful expressive fun. Each come with the Miss Dior couture motif on the powders, paying tribute to the first luxury ready-to-wear collection, named Miss Dior, launched in 1967, alongside a pouch that displays the Miss Dior graffiti-logo.
Channelling vivid and audacious, 862 Shocking Pink looks to break the rules with its fuchsia heart, and is accompanied by a duochrome rosy ivory, a rosy gold, a satiny taupe, and a deep brown with a hint of violet.
For a mysterious and radical look, the 931 Bold Black helps to make your eyes pop with its intense velvety black heart that contrasts with timeless hues of metallic pink, subtle white, satiny pale pink, and delicate aqua.
Giving a sense of freedom and confidence, 664 Wild Beige dresses the eyes in a range of warm shades featuring luminous browns and an apricot beige that is heightened by a pure shimmering silver white, and a vibrant copper.
These palettes are also enhanced with matte, satin and pearlescent finishes, providing an intense, long wear delivered in ultra-creamy and comfortable textures.
In addition to the already available 091 Matte Black Diorshow Stylo, the new collection adds two new shades namely 121 Pearly Rosewood and 772 Matte Beige ($45 each). Both offer an ultra-creamy texture that glides onto the eyelid to create a precise line which emphasises the eyes with intense waterproof and no-transfer colour.
For the lips
As the most fashion-forward of the House’s lipsticks, the Dior Addict now comes in new refillable, limited-edition cases ($55 each) that are adorned with the Miss Dior graffiti-logo in Shocking Pink, Bold Black, and Wild Beige.
For this collection, new shades ($64 each) have been created to mark the occasion starting with 790 Bold Black, a new, deep purple limited-edition shade; 976 Be Dior, a vibrant fuchsia; and 100 Nude Look, a modern nude offering a radiant reinterpretation of the colour beige as seen by Christian Dior.
Alongside Dior Addict is the Rouge Dior lipstick, now available in three limited-edition shades ($69 each) with Dior’s graffiti letters, engraved on its bullet like a slogan.
The new fuchsia pink 781 Shocking Pink, cult intense rosewood 720 Icone, and the timeless beige 100 Nude Look helps to elevate the tone and provide 24 hours of comfort, thanks to their formula which is infused with a hydrating flora treatment to deliver plump, smooth-looking lips.
For the face
Those with the Dior Forever Cushion can look to update their case ($50 each) with three limited-edition designs that present a Miss Dior screen print in stark black on a Shocking Pink fuchsia background, in white on an absolute Bold Black background, and in black on a beige background for Wild Beige.
For the nails
Rounding up the collection are three limited editions of the Dior Vernis ($46 each) in 580 Shocking Pink, an intense pink; 908 Bold Black, an eggplant black with a pearlescent purple heart; 321 Wild Beige with tone-on-one pearls.
Infused with peony and pistachio extracts, the Dior Vernis enhances nails and delivers intense colour and gel-effect wear.
