Fuelling this creation’s intensity is the majestic sandalwood alongside leathery and resinous notes of cysts labdanum, which reveal the more mysterious and enchanting aspects of its character.
The precious sandalwood extract that is often used in the composition of CHANEL fragrances, including the BLEU DE CHANEL L’EXCLUSIF, comes from an integrated supply chain on the island of Maré in New Caledonia.
Only the heartwood, rich in essential oils, is used and carefully transformed using a tailor-made extraction process, bringing you the proprietary quality of sandalwood extract that gives CHANEL fragrances its unique olfactory characteristics.
