Dior’s Amphora perfume bottles are iconic for being the vessel that the Miss Dior perfume was bottled in, way back in 1947. Now, consumers will get the option to customise these gorgeous bottles for themselves.
Each Amphora bottle is moulded in a French glass studio, with several different parts being carefully assembled and put together. Then, details like the facets of the bottle or the star on the base and lid are sculpted by hand, along with a 22K gilding as the final touch.
But the real fun begins when the bottle starts getting customised. First, a perfume scent is chosen and the 150ml Amphora bottle is filled. The options contain over 50 different scents, including scents from La Collection Privée.
Next, customers get a choice between an ornamental cotton cord in different colours or a silk ribbon in either the Dior Oblique or Houndstooth check prints. If the cotton cord is chosen, there will also be 12 options to choose from for a decorative charm such as the star, bee or the Christian Dior logo.
Lastly, a complimentary engraving service is offered, either for a name, initials or a personal message.
