We are always looking to reinvent ourselves in some way and every new year gives us a form of blank canvas where we can try out fresh styles; or in this case fresh, new scents to add another layer to our personality. Here’s a look at three recently released scents to consider for the start of 2025.
Chloé Fragrances Fleurs De Nuit Collection
Guide your sight and smell towards singular flowers that make up Chloé’s three enchanting compositions that make up their new fragrance collection.
Tubéreuse Lazuli offers verdant, fresh notes borne by bergamot and pink pepper and is mixed with osmanthus and jasmine to form a sensuous, intoxicating bouquet. The subtle pure, white oud gives off a unique wood scent that is rounded by a slightly smoky patchouli and creamy sandalwood.
In Orchidée de Minuit, you’ll smell the gentle notes of Orchid blossom with warm tones of clove and syrupy aromas of rum. At the heart of the scent, jasmine emerges in all its richness and sensuality, together with benzoin and styrax resins for a more sensual scent. Vanilla rounds off the fragrance, exalted by musks and patchouli, to form the signature of this intriguing scent.
Drawing focus on the Orange Blossom, the Nuit D’Oranger mixes bitter orange petitgrain, pink peppercorn and bergamot to form an accord of verdant, fresh top notes. The Orange Blossom appears in two forms namely an airy neroli and an opulent, honeyed Orange Blossom absolute.
The scent is rounded off with a woody, herbaceous accord composed of yerba mate and patchouli to evoke the natural surroundings of the orange trees in bloom.
The Fleurs De Nuit collection is available now at all Chloé counters.
Guerlain Rouge Bonheur
In honour of Chinese New Year, Guerlain has created Rouge Bonheur, an exclusive Eau de Parfum, that comes in a specially crafted red Bee Bottle adorned with a snake-shaped jewel in fine gold.
The fragrance awakens your senses with zesty top notes of pepper and ginger which then expands to two flowery giants — rose and magnolia. After which comes the base notes featuring the vibrant cedar to add intensity and white musk for an airy, comforting scent.
The Rouge Bonheur is available at all Guerlain boutiques.
Tom Ford Rose Exposed
Crafted exclusively for Tom Ford, the Rose Exposed showcases a rose-on-rose co-distillation to capture the potency of a fresh, just-picked rose. This co-distillation is created in a meticulous distillation process to preserve the integrity of the fragile flowers while capturing all the flower’s facets for a rose experience unlike any other.
The warm, full-bloom scent of award-winning English roses are laced with notes of orange flower as well as white pepper and pink peppercorn. These are then contrasted with essences of cypress, bergamot and curcuma extract.
