Designed to meet the unique demands of hybrid training and racing, the Nike Hybrid is a new Nike Training footwear system that is built from the ground up to solve the challenges that hybrid athletes face, as they regularly shift between running, lifting and dynamic movement throughout training and competition.

Instead of being forced to choose between the speed and responsiveness of a running shoe and the grip of a traditional training shoe, the Nike Hybrid delivers performance without compromise, distinctly serving hybrid athletes to support the full-body demands of hybrid racing, from everyday training to the starting line.

Rooted in athlete insight and powered by Nikeβs proprietary performance platforms, like the Nike Air, ZoomX and ReactX foam, and carbon fiber Flyplate technology, the Nike Hybrid is able to offer unparalleled performance between hybrid movements such as sled pushes and pulls, lungs, rows, ski ergs and runs.
Nike also worked with everyday athletes and elite hybrid athletes like Dylan Scott, to inform, refined and pressure-test the system against the demands of hybrid training and racing.
The Nike Hybrid offers two distinct footwear solution namely the Nike Hybrid Fly that is built for race day, and the Nike Hybrid RN that is designed for everyday training.

Engineered for competition, the Nike Hybrid Fly combines ZoomX foam, a full-length carbon Flyplate and dual forefoot Air Zoom units to help maintain speed on the run. The cushioning system is paired with a wider, more stable base, that is designed to increase traction and help you minimise the micro-adjustments often required when transitioning into station work.

Additional features include race lockdown laces, four-zone traction with sticky rubber and sidewall wraps to help maximise grip and security across varied surfaces, and a lightweight engineered mesh upper reinforced with zoned haptic lines for structure and durability.

Combining ReactX foam and a forefoot Air Zoom unit, the Nike Hybrid RN has a smooth, responsive ride while maintaining the stability athletes need for lifts.Β
The wide outsole and X-shaped upper overlays help to secure the foot during transitions, while a dual-rubber outsole delivers optimal traction across multiple surfaces. This is alongside an engineered mesh construction that helps to keep you comfortable and supported throughout training.
