30 Montaigne celebrates its third anniversary since transforming into Dior’s flagship boutique, and to help mark the momentous occasion, the House has invited British artist, Penny Slinger, to revisit and reimagine its eternal icon — the Lady Dior bag.
This new partnership echoes the creative dialogue forged between Penny and Dior’s Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri during the Dior haute couture autumn-winter 2019 show.
Now, the duo have teamed up again to transform the townhouse on avenue Montaigne, Dior’s historic address, into a unique creation with the charm of a golden doll’s house.
For the reimagined Lady Dior bag, Penny had designed it with unprecedented proportions that evoke the architecture of the iconic façade, in a silver leather version; paying homage to the ties uniting couture and art in all its forms with Dior’s fascinating heritage and audacious spirit.
